Agronomy Technician -- Full-time

• Nutrient Plans
  
  Coordinate with producers and facility owners to organize nutrient application updates.  Implement attention to detail enforcement process.  Input and tracking of manure application data and Nutrient Plan Data.  Maintain & Populate GPS/GIS database.  Produce soil sampling maps/data/files.
  

 

• Marketing/Sales
  
  Assist marketing of MMP's, Crop Scouting, and Soil Sampling.  Technical support on GPS/GIS Systems.  Promote and increase crop-input sales with potential/existing producers.
  

 

• Service Consulting
  
  Assist growers & nutrient recipients to organize nutrient application and efforts.  Produce and distribute planning forms and rate sheets.  Supply technical support with new technology/software/handhelds.  Possible field scouting support.  Supply support on Soil Sampling.
  

 

• Logistics
  
  Track coordination of nutrient application updating.  Produce and compile application billing and MMP information.  Distribute and maintain MMP updates.  Support agronomist with seed inventory.
  

 

• Research/Special Projects
  
  Implement producer contact and tracking of special projects.  Assist research studies as needed.  Track data and produce reports/summaries.
